FAMILY STORIES

What is Autism in India like?

One of the aims of the AFA journal, Autism Network, is to provide a forum for bringing parents and professionals from different regions and backgrounds together to share their own experiences and knowledge.

Over the years multitude of ‘family stories’ have been featured in the Autism Network. These first-hand accounts of families of people with autism, as well as those written by people with autism themselves, speak of their journeys, their struggles and achievements, the strategies that have proved to be useful, and those which may not have been so. They carry a wealth of information and are exceptionally motivating with their ‘can do’ spirit.
